Enjoy the freedom of transportation when you need it!

There’s a new, easy way to catch a ride in Graham, Haw River, and Mebane, and ! ACTA Microtransit provides rideshare options between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  The fare is only $2.00 per trip!

Microtransit Expands Again!

Starting October 1st, 2026, ACTA Microtransit expanded to offer trips between Graham and Mebane, and the area in between!  See the map below for details.  Fares are $2.00 anywhere within the zone.

How Does it Work?

To request a ride, you can use the ACTA app (see below) or call the Alamance County Transportation Authority (ACTA) call center 336-222-0565 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  You can request a trip to any destination within the service area, or travel to a transit stop in the area to continue your journey with a connecting service such as Link or PART.

Once your ride has been requested, you’ll meet the vehicle at the designated spot and head to your destination!

You may be sharing the ride with other riders in your community headed in the same direction as you.
