ACTA Overview
ACTA is not just Dial-a-Ride. We provide transportation to and from most of the places you need to go every day.
Cleaner Emissions
In 2014 a strategic planning process began on a project to convert ACTA’s fleet vehicles from gasoline fuel to alternative propane fuel. ACTA implemented its plan and by 2016, 16 of its 27 fleet vehicles had been converted. As of 2021, all of ACTA’s fleet vehicles have been converted to propane fuel. This move benefits the local environment by reducing greenhouse emissions and also contributes to lower fuel costs for ACTA.

HEPA 3 Air Filtration & Purification System
Recently ACTA has stepped up its measures in response to the COVID-19 virus by installing HEPA 3 air filtration systems on each bus. This system continually circulates and purifies the air using ultra-violet lights and HEPA 3 air filters which help to eliminate harmful airborne particulates and destroys germs, bacteria, viruses, and reduces VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and odors within the vehicle cabin.
COVID Safety Measures
In response to the COVID-19 virus outbreak ACTA has implemented some anti-COVID measures to help ensure the safety of our passengers and our drivers. The first being, all riders and drivers must wear a mask while being transported. Secondly, our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside after each shift and periodically throughout the day. Most recently, ACTA has installed HEPA 3 Ultraviolet Air Filtration Systems on all transit buses.
