Questions about ACTA Programs and Services:

Who Can Ride?
Anyone requiring transportation in Alamance County is eligible to ride the ACTA vans. ACTA provides transportation for general purpose trips, medical trips, and almost any non-emergency trip destination. In addition, special programs and pricing are available to qualified riders based on eligibility requirements.

When Can I Ride?
Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM (no trip request is started after 5:00 PM). Please be ready for your ride at least one hour before your scheduled appointment. Out of county medical transportation will require earlier pick-ups. A driver may only wait five (5) minutes for you to board the van.

How Do I Schedule A Ride?
To request transportation service, call the ACTA office at 336-222-0565 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Ride requests are not taken during the weekend; therefore, requests for transportation on Mondays must be made before 11:00 a.m. the preceding Friday.
